Questions about Magdrive 7

Im going to buy a magdrive 7 supreme by danner to pump the water back into my 55 through the all glass overflow. Would the water pump be submerged in the water in the filter?

I have used a MagDrive pump. I had never heard of it before I bought it. I came home set it up, plugged it in and was extremely satisfied with the performance of the waterflow, the lack of vibration and the almost silent operation of it. Well worth the money. Good Luck.

My mag 7 is in the water in my sump. Has worked great so far. No compliants.

I also have my Mag 7 in the sump. Been going strong for about 1 1/2 years. Awsome pump!

Same here. I've had mine running not stop for over 2 years and it has never missed a beat. Always restarts. The only thing I noticed when I added the Mag and replaced my Rio 2500 was that it did increase my water temp by about 3 degrees which was no big deal.
