Questions about nanos!

Okay currently my room mates and I have a 28 gallon, but I really really want a nano.
I love the relationship between a pistol shrimp and a goby. My questions are:
How large of a tank would I need for just those two? What do y'all think of Oceanic Biocubes?
Which goby is best for that pairing, and how much do they usually cost? I've heard pistol shrimps cost $100 sometimes!
How much live rock would I need? Do I need a sump, powerhead, chiller, and everything that is in my 28 gallon?

I ve never heads of a pistol shrimp costing 100 $. I know that the yasha shrimp goby sometimes costs around 80-100$. I think pistols are usually 15-25
Im doing a hi fin banded goby with a pistol pair in my 5.5 gallon.
Some of the other larger shrimp gobies might need a larger tank though.

I was thinking about the pink & blue shrimpgoby...he's $13.00 on SWF but I don't order from here, I hope my LFS can order him and a pistol. So they would be okay in a 5 gallon? It says they like to burrow, so they need a deep sand bed?
