Questions about RO/DI

So I just got my new 5 stage 75gpd PLUS RO/DI filter from ************** and I have it set up and running to get rid of the first 10 gals of water. But I do have a question. The water that is coming out of the RO good water line, (before DI, havent hooked that up yet) is reading a TDS of 2ppm. And on the in my well water is reading 65 ppm. Will I even need the DI? thanks in advance.

After you hook up the DI portion of your system you should get 0 TDS ,and that is optimal.

thanks, one other thing. Are dual TDS meters water-proof? Mine got wet and now it won't turn on.
Nope, but if you give it some time to dry out it should be fine.I would take the batteries out for a few days.
