We're wanting to upgrade to a larger tank, saw this deal, wondering if it's any good. We want to have a reef down the road, but for now just for our growing fishes. He also said he would throw in the 29 gallon refugium. It is a drilled tank and has a sump and all with power heads and protein skimmer. Here's what this tank comes with.
Aqua Spacelight 72" with 3 - 150watt HQI Lamps +4 - blue PC $500.00
A 175 oceanic bowfront tank stand and canopy the stand needs to be rebuilt completely for $350.00
Around 300 pounds of dry fiji base rock $1.00 a pound or $200 for it all
Or take everything for $850.00
He's located like 3 hrs from me. Does this sound like a good deal? I want to know how are those Aqua Spacelight??? What kind of stuffs can you keep with that type of lighting? And is the wattage strong enough for a 175 bow front? :help: He's gonna e-mail me detailed information either later on tonight or tomorrow. Thanks!

Hell ya!!! The Oceanic in my opinion is the best made tank out there. The rock is dead now, but will quickly become live again, just add about 30 lbs really good live rock to it when you get your tank up and going. The ref. and skimmer and pumps !!! Wish i could buy it!! Not to mention its big!!! Go for it!!! Take it all!! And have fun! Not to mention the lights!!! Perfect for a reef !Great deal!! the 175 watt mh's will just be enough, oyu will have to keep stoney corals about mid tank level, but everything else will be fine!!

Yea I thought so too. IF we do get it, I think I would replace the stand with a new one which cost around $700.00 Unless I rebuild the stand myself. It does sound like a great deal and I could put in good live rock like you guys have mentioned to make it live again. Any other thoughts would be appreciated...Thanks!!! :happyfish
