First of all i checked my salinity the other day and the hydrometer can even go that high. Yes, my fish are fine. My first question is how should i bring it down the correct way? The next thing is I just saw a post with a hang-on refugium. Could someone please email me a site about them and also a site where I can check out some lights. The other thing I want to know is there to much LR that can be put in a tank. What I mean too much weight on the glass. I would greatly apprciate some help with the questions.
Thanks,
Mark

Do a small water change and then just add regular top off water, but you don't want to do this to fast.
So what size tank are we talking?
Also before changing the salinity, check the hydrometer, clean it with white vinegar, rinse it well and check the salinity again.
There is such a thing as too much live rock, you want to have room for your fish to swim, not to much up front and not to high in the water column so that when you do a water change it exposes rock or corals. As to too much weight, thats one reason I put egg crate down first before the sand or rocks in my tank.

Thomas,
I am talkin about a 55 gallon tank. I didnt know about the egg crate deal so I have no foam or anything underneath, but my stand has a full bottom, it don't have just rails that it sits on. I have about 20 pnds of LR and about 25 pounds of base rock. I wanted about 20 more pounds of LR. Think that would be too much weight?
Thansk again,
Mark

Not at all, I had at least 50 or 60 pounds in a 55 gallon before.
