Questions regarding live sand

My new tank has cycled and is filled with micro life...pods, etc...the ls and the tank glass are alive with critters! I wanted to add a few more lbs of ls...is it too late now?...I don't want to kill the pods and other critters.
Also, I assume that if I move my watchman gobies (2) to the new tank they will consume all the critters in the new tank. Is this correct?
Thanks!

how big is the tank you have now, and how many inches of sand are in it, out of curiousity? also, yeah, your watchman gobies will eat the pods up, not all of them, but they'll definitely thin the numbers a lot
either way you should be ok with adding a few more pounds of live sand, the question is why

I have a small tank...just 20 gallons (I'm creeping my way up slowly...12 g nano to 20 g w/ proper lights & skimmer...50 g is next!).
I prefer a deeper sand base than what I have...I have about 12 lbs of ls; I would like at least 8 lbs more. I really wasn't excepting the pods and other critters to materialize just yet...but they are fascinating and I am very happy to have them. They are all over the lr too. There is something else on the glass & lr I can't identify yet...they are white and look like tiny, tiny flat snail shells or curly-qs.
This tank might become an invert & coral only tank!
