Anthony, the MH bulbs come with their own fixtures and ballast. These are not the same sort of lights as florescent tubes and cannot be "plugged" into your existing fixtures.

so should i buy both a actinics and MH and leave then on at the same time or what???
You could buy both, lots of folks do, myself included. I have the actinics and Mh on a timer that turns the actinics on first to simulate morning (eases the fish into the light) and then at night turns the MH off first to simulate sunset (eases the fish into night). :happyfish
Think about it this is much gentler then all the lights bursting on and off at the beginning and end of the day.
They make bulbs for viewing at night also called moonlights. I don't have those yet, but will on my next system shortly.

Yes, fan cooled. It is 72X24X14, everything fits. You just get creative with the light placement.
It is easier then you think most of these are very compact. No pictures, sorry I don't have a digital camera that works right now.

i dont have a canopy so id probably just get some smaller lighting maybe just actinics and MH i dont know yet tho i dont even have corals and dont plan on it for a while im just wanting some lighting with a little bit of blue tint to it... do you think actinics would have to much blue tint for a FOWLR???

For FOWLR you really wouldn't need the MH. As for the actinics, if it is a 2 bulb fixture, go with one 20K and one 6500K or 10k and 6500K.
Just a suggestion, really the amount of blue is then just a preference.
