Hello all, I'm thinking to change my 75 gallons tank to Reef tank. What kind for light do I need? Any suggestion? Thanks

At least 375w total. But its also depending on how deep your tank is. You want 4-6 watts per gallon.

My tank side is 48"X18"X20" dept. Is any one kowns where to buy a cheap metal halide light? Please hepl. Thanks

This should work for zoos, shrooms, and some softies but not hard corals or clams.

If you want to get shrooms, softies things like that, that light would be great but if you want to go to hard corals, and anemones, you would need more light

If you dont want to be limited with what you can keep, get at least 8 watts per gallon. I'd even go with a few actinics aswell to bring out teh colors more.

Recommendation...research the kinds of corals that you want...then set up your lighting accordingly. Lighting can get VERY expensive...just my 2 cents.

Can I use two reefstar 250w for my tank. Totals for 500w. I would have 6.67w per gallon. Any suggestion?

Hello All, I find this MAtal Halide light Jebo 48" 492 watts on ----. Do you think it work for my 75 gallons tank. The price is $499.99. Do you think it's a good deal?
