Hey guys, I've been looking to buy a nano cube for christmas, and I just found on on my local classifieds for $300 including a 24 gallon nano cube, 20 pounds of live rock, 2 clown fish, a heater, a power head (I think that's what they're called) all the chemicals, the nano cube stand, and the live sand for $300. This sounds like a KILLER deal to me. The guy said all I'll need to do is put this water in a bucket and put the fish in bags and then I can transport it? If anyone has experience moving a tank i'd appreciate it! Also, what do I need to do when I get it home? I've never owned a salt water tank so I'm kind of clueless. Lastly, at some point I want to add some corals, how does that work since this is an established tank?

Yeah, I would put the water and rock in buckets, the fish in bags, and I would leave an inch of water or so above the sand line to make sure it doesn't dry out. When you get home, put the rock and water in and turn on the filter and heater. Let it run for a little while to clean up the water, you could float the bags so fish stay up to temp (if the water is up to temp). You can add corals after a while if you want, but you can deal with that later as far as what corals will work with your light.
As long as the rock, sand, and bioballs (if they are in the sump anyway) don't dry out, your biological filter should remain intact so you will not have problems adding the fish right away.
Then, if you haven't read this, I would as it is extremely helpful:
