quick dip first?

As I am waiting for a reply on my last post before I do anything..overnight the fish in the ten gallon are looking a lot worse. I need to start the process of healing them but seeing they are getting bad would a quick freshwater dip be better first to get them on their way? And once I start dropping the level of salt in the tank any ideas how much to take out at a time? Remember they are not doing very good at the present time.

Ok.If there gills are not so infested that they are suffocating,I would not give them a freshwater bath. The bath will cause a lot of stress.Try using garlic soaked food.As far as the lowering of your salinity,do a search in this forum on hyposalinity. You will find all the info you need.Same for the garlic. If they do look like they need a dip, make sure you do a search on that also. The ph has to be the same as well as the temp.hth
