Quick Need Answer Asap Asap Asap

Ok going to get my 10g QT...I need to know what kind of Paint I need so I can paint the bottom and maybe the sides of my tank! I am going to walmart if that helps!!!

Gosh Darn't....No one replied fast enough so I had to leave....and I went there and I asked the workers and I looked and I didnt see any that would work...Gosh Darnt' I guess I wasted my time! Thanks though, next time I will get it.

Do you have to like prep the glass or something.......or what do you do with the paint can you tell me please....My dad is saying something about prepping the glass?:notsure:

i doubt it but a good cleeaning, on the outside mind you, wouldn't hurt. make sure you tape off the trim unless you dont' care.

What do you mean...I am going to go and buy a 10g tank from walmart...what do you mean tape off the trim?

All you need to do is clean the outside of the glass, and tape the trim so you don't get paint on it. Not sure what you don't understand.

i would guess hes saying tape the trim if you dont want paint on the trim, or dont if you dont care.

Shrimp,
Krylon Fusion spray paint is made to adhere to plastic(ie acrylic) and glass among other things, The directions off the can say only to remove all loose particles and apply to a dry surface...

Hey Double Zero..went out and bought my tank today....(10g) and I bought the paint..and applied it to the back glass...and the bottom..and it looks great...do you have any pictures of you tank with the paint on it?

I was thinking of just a 2" elbow or "Y", you can get them at Macs, HD or the like for around $2-3.00 each...

I didnt buy a setup since I already have some lights, heater, and a filter...I just bought my tank and paint...for like 12 bucks or something like that!
