I believe the commercial lighting section... and I use a razor blade unless its an unusual cut or large. Then I have the place I am buying from cut it for me.
You could use a band saw or a jigsaw too. Make sure the plexiglass doesnt vibrate and fine teeth will minimize shattering and or cracking.

Well im not sure what baffle plexiglass is. But regular plexi, yes you have to score it several times, then you can snap it off where it has been scored. Its not hard but it is time consuming.
Yes, wirecutters for the egg crate not the plexi-glass. An Axacto blade works great on the plexi. As PerfectDark stated, score it a few times then snap it.
In on line postings and a few LFSs I see egg crate which is basically thin & white. I went to Lowes and wound up with something clear lens like & was $25 a sheet. Is this right?
Make sure you ask for fluorescent lighting diffuser when you go to HD or Lowes. They'll look at you funny if you ask for egg crate. Should be around $10 for a 2x4 sheet of it.
