quick question about ric fragging

Is it best to frag it during the day when it's big and full or after lights out when it's smaller and firmer?
Probably personal preference, but I figured I'd ask anyway.

from what ive seen when you pull coral out of the water they close up anyways so it doesnt really matter as far as im concerned
but im no expert

yeah, i tried it with the lights on and it's like they knew i was coming. But they got fragged anyway.

I think it will be easier to remove the ones that are attached to the rock after lights out because they're withdrawn and I'll be able to get to the stem easier.
