to be able to break down the database alittle bot into a more workable and navagatable database I was thinking something like this.
Does anyone have any other ideas on this.
thanks for every that has contributed to this database so far it has more interest and participation that I actually thought it would.
On another note in the SPS forum we have started a SPS database so feel free to contribute to that one if your have SPS corals.
Thanks
Mike

well i tried a couple of different ways of doing that and so far it didnt work so I will have to research some more and see if I can find out how to do that other than reuploading another pic into the thread.
have to see what i can come up with HTML doesnt work which would be the easiest way to do it.

if they allowed html, that would work.
its simply referencing and presenting your larger image as a much smaller file on a different page.

vB code is On
Smilies are On
code is On
HTML code is Off
you need to talk to admin about that.

just tell admin to allow you to turn it on and off so you can update this.
easy fix.
turn it on, thumbnail your work, turn it off.

there is a reason its off I cant remember why exactly though I think it has to do with bandwidth or someting simliar or abuse before not sure.
there should be a vbcode to do the same thing but I cant find one that works with this version of VB. hummm.
as far as turning it on and off that would be an admin account options which will not happen to mant things can go wrong with to many people with admin access.

I could be wrong on what you are trying to do but there is a proggie out there called Easy Thumbnails its free and great will take any pic and make a tumbnail out of it . just do a search for it on web you will find it.

I can make thumbs easily but I would rather not have to upload the photos again and again to be able to make them show up in the post. I am also looking to keep the picture in order with the clickable link.
its also a space issue that I dont want to have another 50+ posts in a scaled down version so its more managable and user freindly.
