Quick question on Hosp tank?

:notsure: I have a sailfin tang, yellow goby, coral beauty and a tomato clown, the sailfin and the goby have ich. the goby has ich and what seems to be small lumps on him, not sure what that is thow. Question is if I set up a hospital tank can I use the DT water ? The water is perfect in that tank. And also I'm going to use Mardel Coppersafe to treat them. any opinion on that?

You can use the display water tank. That is okay.
Coppersafe is a much weaker form of copper. You would be better off with hyposalinity. The reason is because coppersafe is such a weak form of copper that it may not do the job, and if you use Cupramine, you may be counter-productive. Gobies do not tolerate copper at all.

I'll do the hyposalinity then. I only have a hydrometer! You think I can get away with that for now?

It may be okay. Just be as precise as possible. It's still better than copper.
