Quick Question

Ok I woke up this morning and my tank lights clicked on. I looked in the tank and it looked like there was alot of sedament kicked up. But after looking more closley at it they were litterally hundreds of copepods swiming around in the water. Is that normal?

I think I have the same thing. I thought I had micro bubbles but there's some stuff in suspension in my dt and I have a blue media filter wedged between 2 baffles that I've been cleaning religiously. I just finished my cycle and I suspect they are pods as well. It's got to be a good thing if that's what they are.

Ive got nothing but Bio Balls and a carbon bag in the back of my tank. These little guys are in my actual tank and they are def swimming not just hanging. They look like little shrimp flicking their tails.
