Replacing my 1 year old 60 FOWLR with a new 75 FOWLR. I am moving all my LR and establish bioballs over, but have decided to go with a new DSB for my 75 FOWLR. I bought 120lbs of Carib Sea Oolitic sand to create a DSB. Do you think I should seed the Oolitic sand with sand from my 60 gallon tank. I don't know if the sand from the 60 is Argonite, but it has lots of good worms and pods in it? Or do you think I would be better off purchasing a bag of Natures Own Live Sand seeded with the worms and pods? Or should I purchase a live sand activator kit for $50 +S/H. Any thoughts?
Lastly, will changing the sand cause my tank to re-cycle? As I do have fish in the 60 FOWLR and can't keep both tanks running at the same time? My LFS can hold my fish if necessary.

I would use my own live sand to seed the new...why pay someone for something you already have?! And, yes, you may go through a cycle period again. Anytime you disturb your system's biofiltration, you may experience that cycle again.
