when i picked up my LR the lfs sold be some liquid calcium.. and told me to put it all over the LR, i havent done anything yet, my tank has been setup for a week now and i was wonder what this does and should i do it...i have a cuc in there now.. will it hurt them?

It wont do anything. Basically they sold you. Ive never heard of doing that. Do not add any chemicals to your tank until you test for it.

I would only add a calcium suppliment if it was under 400. And I've never heard of pouring it over the live rocks.

Sounds like he sold you purple up, Which I don't think much of.
