quiet one 3000 mods

just just up my first sump. 75 gal rr singal overflow with my 55 gal refuge. thought that the quiet one 3000 would be good but with a 4 ft head does not seem to keep up. are there any DIY mods for this pump to get a little more flow or am i going to have to get another pump.

How do you have it plumbed back to the display? I have one on my tank and it returns through 1" Vinyl tubing to a spraybar with not nearly enough holes and 6ft of head and I still get about 300gph. At 4ft you should be moving somewhere around 5-600gph depending on your indvidual pump and your plumbing.
