last week i bought one long nose butterfly, one small dotty bicolor and one small racoon butterfly and kept in quarantine tank for observation.............Racoon and dotty died next day in the morning. long nose butterfly, she didn't feed 2 days but afterwards she started taking mysis shrimps as feed.................today in the morning, when i checked my quarantine tank, i found her dead also.
i dont know why it is happening in quarantine tank.......i m using same water which is in my display tank right now...only filter is installed in quarantine tank which filters the water as well as pumping air. temperature was perfect ...no live rocks...only an artificial decoration for hiding in the center of tank....
what could be the reason behind it ?

Why would you buy more fish when your fish in your DT is not healthy. And you ask me why I wont give you my phone number, because you do not listen. So the water from your DT is full of ick now your QT is full of ick, I say no more. Get your tank in order B4 you kill again.

All is not good Beth told you I told you plus a lot more told you the life cycle for ick 3 weeks. You need to treat your fish first (you haven't done that yet), second they need to be without spots for 3 weeks straight and your DT needs to be fishless for 6 weeks. Do this then you think about buying new fish.

Sir,
now one week gone.. lets wait for another 2 weeks......how i remove my fishes from display tank...its very difficult because i have 100 lbs live rock in DT. fishes are hidden in the rocks..moreover i have anemone and sea star as well...........how can i make my DT fishless? should i remove the live rocks as well and catch the fishes?

But or make a trap. It's beyond me how you keep the Anemone alive, but DON'T displace the rocks or move anything besides the fish.

Move rocks into plastic garbage can (they will be fine until you catch fish), you can leave all inverts and anemone in tank. Only put fish in QT.

for this, again i have to make new quarantine tank containing salt water and filter..
this new salt water will disturb the fish in quarantine tank?..........because water in the quarantine tank is same as in the DT tank. Do i need to change the water of quaratine tank as well?
