R.I.P. Evel

I am deeply saddened today...as my HERO in life has passed on to a better place. He was such an outspoken,1 of a kind,just down right crazy

( fill in the blanks) RIP Robert Craig Knievel....You are a LEGEND!!!! Here is a picture of the MAN himself.....and me in 1999(I think). He is autographing my Original in the box 1976 Stunt Cycle. Im sure you older folks remember the Stunt Cycle.

i was at the Snake River Canyon Jump... i was only 1 but i was there... lol... the ramp still stands today as an Idaho land mark... i also had the stunt cycle... he is a true legend...

He is a legend!!! He will be missed. I told my son that he had passed and he said WHO? He was the first to do stunts like he did, and will always be remembered for it!

I think Every guy over 30 had those STP Evil Kenievel toys, that you put the plastic pull string through.. What joy! R.I.P! EVEL

When I was 13 I poured lighter fluid over mine and had it jump a 55 gal drum while on fire and light the drum on fire.
Some of the stupid crap I did as a kid.

thats ok a couple years back i poured a couple cans of lighter fluid all over the road in front of my house and lit it.

haha actually ive done worse than that but im not sharing!

I never had those toys, but knew about him and watched his specials on TV.

I used to love watching him do his thing, PT Barnum on two wheels.

It is pretty crazy to think he did all those tricks on slow, heavy, ill-balanced Harleys. Even though he lived around here for many years I've never seen him in person. My dad used to sell Evel performance car parts, and told me he was an arse-hole. I don't know...never met him.

WTF i didn't even hear about that. Dude that sucks. Most kids want to be firemen or astronauts or something like that i wanted to be Evil Knievel. My mom still asks me to this day if i am still planning on going to stunt school (which i for some odd reason i thought was a requirement to be such a bad---.)
