r/o system

hi,
I use drinkmore water to add to my tank. it is perfectly fine EXCEPT. the cost!!!!! would it be worth it to invest in an r/o system instead?

My RO/DI was like 150ish? and replacement filters are 40 bucks and last 2,000 gallons per filter set -- you decide

Got mine for $155shipped. Not sure If I got my money's worth yet, but it sure does beat luggn around jugs of water.

I get RO drinking water and RO/DI reef water -- our drinking water is terrible so yeah well worth it and no lugging water. Check out this thread to see how much gets filtered:
