R/O unit advice

I am tired of lugging 30 gals a week of R/O water from my lfs. I am interested in purchasing a home R/O unit, but I am confused as to which features are important. Is de-ionization important? 2 stage, 3 stage, 4 stage? I do keep both fish and soft and hard corals. Anyone with any good/bad experiences and or advice?
Thanks.

Thanks Metweezer!
Any idea how often the filters (on average) need to be changed? Lets say I have a 4 stage R/O D/I 20 gal per day unit and I make 40-50 gals/week. Those filters are VERY expensive!

You can get two types one specifically for your aquarium straight filtration into your bucket or one for home use. Filtration and a holding tank

This is variable depending on how much 'stuff' is in the water supply. Some of the RO/DI units are actually sold with a TDS (Total Disolveable Solids) meter. New filters should be able to reduce the TDS by 99% if RO /DI.
How I change filters: DI cartridges have a color change in the resin bed...when the color changes in greater than 70% of the bed I change mine.
The semipermeable membrane should last two years (at the very least) especially if you change out the cheaper prefilters every 6-9 months.
Watch your TDS...If your purified water is starting to show you only a 95% reduction from your water supply then a filter (s) change is needed.

I have the 4 stage RO/DI I haven't changed my membrane yet and its over 5 years old I just change the filters and DI. and with my tds meter it goes from 250 then when I change my filters its like 2 or 3. I have it hooked under my kitchen sink with a holding tank and spicket on top of the sink
