How many of you use R/O water in your tanks?
Anyone use tap water?
The R/O users, how many of you have or had a cyano outbreak?
With using R/O water, do you have to add any trace elements to the water besides the salt?

I use RO/DI water and will never go back to anything else. You only need to add salt to your make up water. Keep in mind while some may use tap water, it varies greatly in make up from house to house.

:D Hello,
The place where i get my RO water is .50 cents a gal. and is well worth it believe me...
And the other question someone else had about other elements other than salt!?!?!?!? I use calcium, reef builder alkalinity, and strontium. They all help maintain a balance or image, if you will, of natural sea water when used properly.
