Racoon Butterfly

I have a small Racoon that today has blood red spot inside his mouth on the top. It kind of looks as if he was eating rocks. He was eating well. He normally does not eat much or any of the flake I feed in the morning. I will be feeding a mix of frozen shrimp and algea tonight. He is hidding a little more. Two days ago I did a fresh water dip to rid him of some ich. I do have a QT tank. My tank is 35g with 20lbs of LR. Use 55g wet dry and AquaC skimmer. I also have a Marron Clown and a Ebili ANgel two Small bristle starfish, 1 sea slug, 5 hermits, 5 snails.
Levels
pH 8.2

If any one can help.
Thanks

Did you introduce fish to the display before it went into your QT?
I would highly recommend that you treat all your fish with hypoalinity for ich.
Now, how do you know what the inside of your fish's mouth looks like? My guess is that the fish is injurying his mouth trying to eat! Do you have a butterfly food clip?? How long have you had this fish? Butterflys use their mouth/snout areas to pic out food from rocks. If there is not enough food in the rock, he may be digging in too much and injuring himself. You can stuff morsels of food in the rock for him to graze on, or use a butterfly food clip which attaches to the glass of the tank.
