Puffers are not safe with inverts or "small" fish.
arrow crabs will pick on other stuff make sure to give him some meaty food like shrimp or squidd every couple days that will keep him from doing so.
Also make sure you "IF" your hermits bother your snails to give them some meat to. But only "IF" cause if they dont bother them and you give them meat then they will be looking for it.

Just any kind of frozen shrimp from your seafood department. Just break a piece off place in the fridge to thaw then de shell it cut a piece off and give to your arrow crab he will love it "I know mine dose"

Never have a any kind of puffer with any kind of shellfish!!! Yes, he will kill and eat your arrow crab! I don't think your crabs have a chance with the puffer. I would try to take it back to the store for a refund or exchange!

What exactly is a rainbow puffer? A large one like a dogface or small like a valentini? If it is a large one, I am afraid you made a critical choice - it will probably determine anything else that will go in the tank. If a small one like some sort of toby, I would say they will probably show an interest, at the very least, in shellfish...though not always.
