Well you can put 2-4 depending on species. Also it is best not to mix species. What type of clowns do you like? Also a varied diet is always best. Flakes are ok, but I feed my clowns 15 different type of frozen foods once per week. This will keep them healthy, colorful, and disease resiliant. Also buy tank raised if you can. If you need anything else let me know.

Welcome to the boards.
Clown spieces shouldn't be mixed. For a tank your size a pair of smaller clowns like Ocellaris is probably going to be all you can house. If you try to go with more the domiant pair will probably kill the weaker clowns.
Feed a variety of food, every day or two. Flake is a freshwater thing, but many aquairsts frown upon it in saltwater. Definitely better foods available for marine fish.
