Raising PH of Vitamin C

Ok, I have pure asorbic acid (vitamin C) with a PH of 4 That I want to start dosing to save some zoos. I want to raise the PH of the Acid to the level of buffered Vit C or higher (7.1-8.2). What is the best thing or things (Baking Soda, Baking Power, Washing Powder) to use. It is for a very small amount of water (1/2 cup) and will be placed in a 100 gal aquarium so I am only concerned about nutralizing the acid.
Thanks

Perhaps you could use a vitamin C ascorbate, like Calcium ascorbate or sodium ascorbate. They should the higher pH you are looking for.
