Raising s/g from Hypo

Hi I need some help from the experts here. I've been running hypo in a 100g qt tank for 4 weeks and am about to start raising the specific gravity back to normal. My question is what specific gravity should I make my water change water to in order to get back to 1.026 over a period of 7 days. I use a 10 gallon pail for mixing the water change water. This is the first time I've done hypo. Thanks for your help

I would suggest that you use the water from your display tank (if its good quality) to make the gradual changes back to normal salinity within the QT. Then put the new water in the display, of course.
This will aid your fish in hypo with acclimation to display conditions. Obviously, display water will be at the SG that you normally keep your tank, and the SG that the fish will be transferred to in a week's time.

If you wish to complete it the way you ask. Increasing the SG from 1.010 (about hypo level) to 1.025 by just removing 10 gallons of water ffrom the QT each day and replacing it with 'new' hypersalinity water you could accomplish this in 8 days...
