Ever since we got some hermit crabs in our tank, we have always seen the occasional random crab claw or crab leg in the tank. I thought this was just part of the molting process hermit crabs go through until recently, when I did some extra research on crab molting. I now know that our crabs may be stressed. Is there any way to decrease the stress levels in my crabs, if they are stressed in the first place?
Things to note:
we could probably go for more crab shells; one of our crabs bigger crabs hijacked a shell from a snail, killing it in the process
we have 6 dwarf red tip hermit crabs (I think)
we have about 2-3 snails
we have about 6 fish
we have 1 boxer shrimp
