Rare Lionfish! Or not?

I have been fascinated with lionfish all my life, so, I have probably seen over 50 different different fuzzy dwarf lionfish. Even though I have seen some variation between them, I have never come across a yellow one nor a black one. Well, there is a very dark, black one at the local pet store for $22! He is on the small size....
Has anyone else come across a black fuzzy? I mean little to no color (other then some color on the head and tips of fins).
I am tempted to snatch him up. I don't like buying young lions like that, but, he is active and healthy looking.

The only dark lion I've seen besides the black volitans, is a non-"happy" lion.
Wish I could see what he looked like.

This fuzzy was extremely responsive to me. I move suddenly and viola', poised to inject me with venom! Also, seemed to be generally very active. Scales/fins in perfect shape. Blue eyes.
If I get 'em I can post a photo or two....

Careful. Lions, like many fish, get very dark before the croak. I'd sure want to watch this fish eat before I bought it. (Always a good rule.)
