I have a small cortez ray that is eating great, saw it poo, exc.. my question is, its never under the sand. Is that typical? Hes super active and when he does "sleep" (or what looks like sleeping) he puts himself against the glass, slides to the bottom near the sand and just stays put for awhile (kinda like an "algae eater" in fresh water) is that typical? Shouldnt it be under the sand or something?? The owner of the LFS where I ordered mine got one at the same time and his hides beneath the sand.. ours only did it once, the day we got it and that was it.
