RBTA feeding question

Hi all...although I have been navigating and getting lots of useful info for my reef tank for months, this is my first posting.
I recently got a RBTA from my LFS, immediately after I set it in the tank, my tomato clown took possession of it and they have been very close friends since then.
I thought that the simbiotic relation between clowns and anemones would allow me just to feed my fish the usual way and apart from that just adding the regular liquid food for my invertibrates. However, as I am reading more and more in this forum it seems that I have to feed the RBTA directly. Well, every time I try to do it, its guardian (tomato clown) will steal the food and wouldn't allow anything to get close to it. Since the clown is hosting it probably this is sufficient and the anemone will get some chunks of food here and there, but I just want to confirm this...don't want the anemone starving to death.
Any suggestions??

make .. like a distraction, put food on the opposite sid e of the tank that the rbta is on and then when the clown goes to eat put some food for the anemone

So do I actually have to feed it directly? Or is it enough what it gets from the Clown?:notsure:
