RBTA question

just got a rbta, it looked good in the store so i took it home and started to acclimate it for about two/maybe three hours. When i was looking at it in the store it looked great, once i put it in my tank the mouth of it is literaly wide open and looks like it is tearing in half. Checked my params, all were on target at 0, with the pH at 8.3, water temp at 79-82. Have 400w halides on my tank and pleanty of flow. Im going to take some pics as soon as the lights come on and post them. Im hoping that its just part of the process of moving into a new home. Any ideas

What acclimation method did you use?
Did it expel anything from its mouth?
Is it still sticky?
Were lights on during acclimation or right after?
More than likely its just acclimating.

i used a drip method into a bucket, and the lights were on when i acclimated it but i had it in a bucket where it was recieving very low light. It did have this brown stuff coming out of its mouth but i didnt touch it to see if the anemone was sticky. I just checked it now and it has somthing brown sitting in the mouth, but it looks 100% better.

Sounds like it is just adjusting. Keep an eye on it though. You don't want it to expel too much.
