Well, my new RBTA decided that the rock I put it on was not a suitable place to be, so it took up residence on the glass smack dab in the middle of the front of my tank... Does anyone else with an RBTA find that they like to stay on the glass rather than in the sandbed or in rocks? I've seen a few RBTA's now that are on the glass. Should I expect it to stay put for a while or is there a chance it might move to the rocks or the crushed coral/sand at some point? Go figure, you spend the extra money to buy a really pretty anemone and all you can see is the "foot" of the anemone... Haha. Maybe if I direct a powerhead its way it'll get the message that I want to SEE the thing at some point.

I suspect it will still move at some point soon. It will look for the right place to be. They do prefer the rocks.

Well, when the timer lights came on today, the anemone looked better than I've ever seen it yet. It is very open and larger than it's ever been since I've owned it. It must love the glass... It's color seems better, too, and the bubble tips are very obvious now. Needless to say, I'm a very proud, happy rbta owner right now!!! :D Still hoping it'll move to some of the rocks, though... I hope my Clarkii starts hosting it soon, that'll be fun to watch.

Well, I was away for the weekend and came back to find the anemone on a rock in my tank. It looks a bit beaten up, but after the considerable move it made it's probably just a little stress from the move. Also, my Clarkii has hosted it for the past few days, which is nice to see. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to feed it a bit of shrimp or clam. I'll also be doing a water change tomorrow. There has been an algae bloom, so I've cut back feeding drastically and hopefully the water change will help bring the algae back under control. Also, salt creep was starting to overcome my light cover, so I cleaned that off. It was the last I could do to keep the anemone happy. :D
