Hi everyone! I need help. Water parameters are good. I have been adding 5 drops of phytofeast for coral food. I have now noticed an algae growth. I will attach 2 pics. Please tell me what kind of algae this is and how to get rid of it. Thank you!


Its on the stem of my coral... See the green algae around the stem? This is the best picture I could take.

Looks like hair algae, specifically, bryopsis species.
Stop feeding the coral unless you have non photosynthetic corals like sun coral, etc. those basic button polyps do not need to be fed, you're feeding the algae. Research bryopsis, it can be hard to get rid of. I'm on my phone, so the image is small, but that's what it looks like to me.
