Ready to give up on LTA

The LTA is really bumming me out. He was in the substrate at first. Then disappeared for two days in the rockwork. He then found a spot for a week in the rocks and was fully exposed and eating. I fed him two days ago but he didn't eat. Now he is back behind the rocks hanging out on the substrate. He has no tentacles showing and looks like a cylinder. I did just change MH bulb which coincides with his behavior. I hope this is what is making him act this way. I have been unsuccessful with anemones. I realized that my two earlier purchases were poorly bleached so they were not in good health when I bought them. This guy had great coloring....Oh well.

No tentacles or very short stubby ones is a sign of starvation from what I read.

im not sure howw bad them loseing their tenticules are but if it helps i have a RBTA and the first time it split the little one lost all of its tenticules but regrew them fast, are you sure it didnt split when it was hidden? mine tends to hide when it splits and thats my sign to know when it has split, i wouldnt try to feed it right now as mine didnt eat when it didnt have any tenticules eather, but if its going to make it youll start to see little bumps real soon and they will regrow fast if they are going to

He now planted himself in some live rock. He is exposed and the tentacles are out. I don't think he looks as good as the other anemone pics I have seen posted. Hopefully he will get his color back. My clown ignores him which is typical of my luck.
