Octo's are just smart enough to be a real pain in the butt. Years ago a buddy of my brother had 2 tanks set up in the living room in a corner where they made an L. The guy couldn't figure out what was happening to his fish but every couple days one would vanish. Finally one night they guy flipped on the light and saw his Octopus climbing back into his own tank from the fish tank. The thing would go mac a fish then go home.

I heard of a similar story happening at a public aquarium but it was a large Atlantic octo

This was a pacific Octo. My brothers were grabbing them by the Nuke plant at San Onofre and selling them. The warm discharge water from the plant seemed to really draw in a lot of cool critters. I have no idea of the exact species these were.
Once the guy figured out what was going on he just let it have it's way with the fish tank. He thought it was cool, Until the Octo fell off the tank one night. No more Octopus.

There are four important steps in this video that deal with OA... Octopus Anonymous
1.) (Shock) Where the **** did that octopus come from?!
2.) (Denial) Did that ****ing thing just steal my camera?!
3.) (Acceptance) I guess I won't be seeing that camera again.....
4.) (Friendship) Fine, then just ride along on my

[hr]
gun while I film the ocean then.
