I have 5 blue damsels and one is behaving really intrestingly it seems to have made a''home'' for itself you see I have a bit of rock near the front of my tank and my blue damsel spends much of his time inside the rock cause its got a hole big enough for my damsel to swim in kind of like a front door and he doesn't come out of the rock much except to chase other fish away from the rock and at feeding time

Damsels are mean, REALLY mean. They mature and bite your hand drawing blood, MEAN. They kill each other and everything else more timid than themselves..MEAN
Your damsel is trying to survive, it has found an area where he can protect himself and must come out to feed or defend the tiny spot in the tank it calls safe to live. So that's the only time you see it.
They are beautiful fish, but you couldn't pay me enough money to keep one of those evil little devils.

LOL...another wheres Waldo...can you point me where in all that he is hiding? I don't see a damsel or a "house"
It doesn't change the reason WHY the fish is hiding. How big is your tank?

Nice, I usually don't like to put plants in my aquarium but it looks quite nice in your tank. Looks very natural, it must take alot of work pruning all of it though.. unless your yellow tang keeps it in check.
