I have a hermit and snail right now(plan on getting more soon), and thought of an idea to decorate them. I got a rock with a ton of small polyps on it, and thought about taking a few off and sticking them on the hermit crab. Would this work?

Just get a decorator crab or a pom-pom crab. They do it to themselves. Hand painted shells do sound kinda cool although most of mine are covered in coralline so wouldn't last too long.

I am surprised that no one has started selling hermits with advertising painted on their shells,,for saltwater fish.com or something,,that would be cool
