I think Jstdv8 has one or something similar. I know I've seen him talking about how he likes to zap the heck out of the stuff in his tank.
I did get one of those aiptasia control products and it worked good on the majonos in my tank. I also had a couple dozen little glass anemones all over the rock as well so I decided to pick up a pep shrimp to see if it would help. Well it's been a few weeks now and I am happy to report that I can't find any aiptasia anywhere. I do see one little majono that popped up by one of my zoos colonies but other than that I think the pep was about the best $12 I ever spent.

I cant imagine that the electrical current through the water is all that healthy for the tank inhabitants. I was suprised when I saw that people actually owned these things. I am sure its for those who are currently at their wits end with killing these things and need the satisfaction of saying "DIE DARNIT" while mashing a button down.

I started this tank with dead rock to avoid pest and the small mushroom rock I bought to seed the tank has a couple on it. What luck. I can pull the rock out a zap the lil bassturds in a small dish.

Does anyone actually have one of these?

Nope, but I have one of these http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/marine-algae-plants/63106-killing-aiptasia-electricity.html
Arent those one and the same thing? THe name is the same, the design looks the same. Doesnt the electricity hurt the tank inhabitants? Have you used it?

CMIFIW, but it's not exactly the electricity that 'zaps' the pests. It's the carbon-tip that reacts to the electricity/saltwater and produces hydrogen/chlorine or something that gets the anemones. Going from a couple years ago when PaulB started posting about it on RC, but I didn't really keep tabs on it (large angels will clean any aipstisa off for me, free of charge). Not sure if he's selling products now or what, but they are quite simple to make.
