Reasonable price?

How much should i pay for a used 50 gallon tank thats pretty dirty with no stand or anything. just the tank.
its for sale right here in my classroom and my teacher will sell it to me but we need to know a reasonable price

no more than $20. I've got a 55 with stand, lights, and filters that I'd give to you for free if you were in SC (I've already promised it out though, if the guy comes and gets it).

I usually use the general rule between .50 - 1.00 per gallon depending the condition of the tank.

if it comes with the standard light and top i would probaly pay maybe $50 if it's just the tank no lid or light no more than $20. :thinking:
