I haven't posted any pics in a while... I don't really like how they turn out with my camera. Of course, here are some anyway.

Note: The colors really aren't very well illustrated by these pics, since my camera sux bigtime.

My mandarin (though he's being shy):

One of the Acros (can anyone provide an ID of the type?):

Candy Cane colony:

Neon Green Candy Cane colony:

I have tons of other coral I'd like to get pics of and hopefully I can get something of my frogspawn, green monti-cap w/blue polyps, neon orange monti-caps, other acros, other pocilliporas, etc, where the color really shows well. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Thanks PD!
Was playing around with the camera some more trying to get some better colors (didn't work), but still got some nice shots:
Sorta high/front down:

Side shot (with frogspawn in there, it was sick for a bit but is recovering nicely):

Thanks!

The coraline just grew over time.... this particular tank has been running for 9 months, and most of the rock that you see is from various other tanks of mine going back over two years. I also keep the back scraped pretty well cause I'd rather have the blue shining through, so things look relatively new I suppose.
For the sandbed I have a ton of cerith and nassarius snails... I think I started with like 15 of each when I setup the tank, plus a bunch of nassarius from another tank when I consolidated. There's also a monster nassarius I got a few months back, it's shell is like two inches long!

Nice tank! Did your pocci drop a baby or did you frag it and place it below the mother colony? I like pocci's but could never put one in my tank in fear that it will take over once it gets happy and dropping buds everywhere.

Tank looks great Monk! And wonderul coraline... U scrape it off the back?
And I love the blue background.. Im not a fan of the blue blackground, but I like that dark deep blue u got. I hate the light blue backgrounds!

Thanks. It actually broke off during shipping when I bought the big piece, so I glued it on thinking it wouldn't actually survive. Sure enough, it did, and has grown quite a bit.

Yup, I scrape the back... I've always liked the clean look, especially since that blue background is actually such a good color... I didn't like blue either until this one. The light blue is definitely pretty cheesy, imo.
