This is what I plan to have in my 65gal reef tank: (this list I am sure of)
1 yellow wrasse
1 bi-color blennie
1 flame dwarf angel
2 yellow stripe maroon clowns
I would like to add another fish to that list. Any suggestions? No tangs or damsels please. I was thinking of a fuzzy dwarf lion. Would it get along with my other fish and is it relatively reef safe?

The Bicolor would probably get eaten by the lion. Some suggestions: Chalk Bass, Firefish (maybe too timid), Arabian Dottyback, Royal Gramma, Anthias, hawk fish

My wife would kill me if I got her little blennie eaten.

That's what I wanted to get but not if it's going to eat the bi-color blennie.

iT WILL EAT ANYTHING THAT FITS IN ITS MOUTH. THERE ARE SO MANY COOL FISH OUT THERE. LOOK THROUGH BOOKS AND ALL THE FISH ON THE SITE HERE AND SEE WHAT APPEALS TO YOU AND WHAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH WHAT. THERE IS NO URGENCY, YOU CAN PUT SOMETHING U NIQUE ON YOUR WISH LIST AND BE NOTIFIED WHEN IT COMES IN.
WE ALL HAVE OUR FAVORITES. I LOVE WRASSES, THEY ARE ACTIVE SWIMMERS. YOUR BLENNY WILL STAY FAIRLY CLOSE TO HOME AS WILLYOUR CLOWNS. THE FLAME WILL HIDE IN THE ROCKS A LOT AND COME OUT TO EAT, SO YOU COULD USE SOMETHING THAT IS VISIBLE AND ACTIVE. CARDINAL FISH MIGHT BE A GOOD ADDITION. THE BANGHA(?SP) IS A DYNAMITE LOOKING FISH THAT STAYS OUT IN THE WATER COLUMN ALL THE TIME, THEN WITH A MID SIZE WRASSE FOR ACTIVITY, YOU WILL BE IN GREAT SHAPE!

Thanks. The Bangaii Cardinal looks really nice. I have a medium size yellow wrasse and it's a great fish. Doesn't bother the other fish and he swims all over the tank, all day! Then when the lights go out he goes under the sand and stays there until the next morning. Great fish!

Nice list, I agree that the lion will have the blennie for lunch. BTW, be sure you get either a mated pair of the maroons, or 2 tank raised juvis that are from the same litter. These fish will usually savagely attack each other if introduced as individuals.

Flame hawk are very interesting, I have one and he is very smart, love to be hand fed, and is very tame. I will put my hand in the tank and he will swim up and land on it. He is so cute when he perches on rocks and corals, and watches you from outside the tank. They are my favorite fish ever.

Thanks for all the great suggestions.
I noticed on SWF.com that they say for both dottyback and hawkfish to monitor with shrimp. Will they bother my cleaner shrimp?

All 3 of the live fish sites I've been biz say (Re: Flame Hawks) "caution" with shrimp,or something similar. I know I've seen posts on this forum about flame hawks going after shrimp. Another "it depends on the individual fish" area. You pays your money and you takes your chances. I sure agree with the above posts;flames do have a ton or personality. I also agree that Bangaii Cardinals are boring; once you get used to the novel shape, there just isn't much left--they remind me of FW fish. But, as always, this is just my selfish opinion and I sure respect the other side.
