I am in the process of setting up my 1st SW tank. It's 55 gal with a 55 sump. I have been cycling it for a couple of weeks now. I have reef sand and 65lbs of LR.
So far I have
10-Zebra Hermit Crabs
3-Large snails
2-Mid size snails
1-Metallic Blue Legged Hermit Crab
1-Banded Coral Shrimp
1-Camel Shrimp
1-Purple Lobster
1-Emerald Crab
Sorry I don't know what kind of snails they are. The large ones look like your standard snail. The mid size ones look like pine trees. My LFS owner is a asian man that is VERY hard to understand so I have a very hard time understanding the names of things. :notsure:
I would like to get my cleaning crew up to snuff this week.
Thanks

No, it's a frog spawn.

FYI - I have two sally lightfoot crabs in my 55g. Added a skunk shrimp and it disapeared a few day later, ironically right after I got rid of a green bristle star. I assumed it was just hiding after molting. Added another skunk shrimp a day or so later. 2nd day: while we watched, one of the sally lightfoot crabs jumped the shrimp and had it for dinner. For some reason, I never considered the crab would take out our shimp....

right... as I just learned...
What would be an adequate replacement to my two sally lightfoot crabs? I really want to get some more skunk shrimps to help keep my fish clean....
