Red Algae on Chaeto?

is this normal...i recently just started a fuge and i had a bad red algae problem...now i noticed that red algae is growing on my chaeto or something like that...

No, the cheato needs more flow. Also take it out and shake it once a week.

really? i have AC110 fuge..how do i put more flow?

Yeah that happens, just lightly pull at teh chaeto once ina while to get the stuff off, it will kill the chaeto otherwise.

Like said earlier, every once in a while take the cheato out and shake it out in some old tank water. This will get most of that junk out of there.
