Red Algae???

I have recently started up a new tank around 2 weeks ago! I have been doing water changes, and I have a strange redish algae or something on the top layer of sand. I have tried to suck it up with the tube. It looks like it also might be growing on my live rock as well.
Does anyone know what this might be and what I can do to prevent it?
I dont have any clean-up crew yet, all I have is a clown and a yellowtail dramsel.
Any Advice would be benificial.
Thanks
