Red Algae

I have what looks like a red algae growing in my tank. It looks almost like velvet. Is this normal? Do I have a problem?

Look up cyanobacteria using our search feature. There have been a couble of pics posted resently of this.
After looking up the info, tell us if that is what you are seeing in your tank. Also, after the search, post up tank info, including water readings, and pump/filter info.
