ok so i have some very pritty red alge in my tank but it is getting out of control i have tured my lights down to only 7 hours a day but is still growing like crazy should i get some cleaner shrimp or what?
We currently have the same problem. We've had luck in the past with "Chemiclean". (Red Slime Remover)
Be sure to remove any sponge filters/carbon filters during treatment.
Turn off UV sterilizer.
To much nutirients matter in the water as in overfeeding causes it. The above suggestion does work if you follow the directions. But don't foregt to take care of the problem first.
