TANK IS ABOUT TWO MONTHS OLD AND HAVE ABOUT 12 PIECES OF CORAL (ASSORTED). SEE TANK SPEC BELOW. 110 GAL.. RUNNING PHOSPHATE SPONGE AND CHANGING EVERY TWO DAYS.. I WAS HAVEING PROBLEM WITH GREEN ALGAE BUT JUST ABOUT CLEARED UP.. NOW I HAVE THIS RED ALGAE??? FORMING ON MY SAND. LOOKS AND ACTS LIKE THE GREEN BUT RED IN COLOR. IS THIS NORMAL AND WHAT IS IT.. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?? WATER TESTED AND EVERYTHING IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE. LIGHTS ON ABOUT 9HRS DAY.
Running Actinic 50/50 72 in 160 watt bulbs (2ea) and Actinic 03 160 watt bulbs (2ea) in tank. Have1200gal per min to sump and 4 other pumps in tank to circulate (behind rock ect). Running lights about 12hr a day.
